2007 Roussanne (Demetria Vineyard)
We sourced the Roussanne for this single varietal blend from Demetria Estate. It is aged on its gross lees in two-year-old oak barrels. There is just a whisper of a kiss of oak in the wine. We let some barrels ferment native (wild yeast), which has created an incredible untamed animal character in this wine. Even though it has this spunky aspect, it is delicate with soft flavors of cinnamon, apples, and pears! |
